LCD's Only Show 60% of Visible Colours

The ABC 7 site reports that despite LCD's flying off the shelves and prices dropping they're still far from the perfect solution.

These TV's can only display 60% of the colours that the human eye can see and use 1/4 of the power that the traditional HDTV's show.
